This girl has my favourite combo. She has had a wash, depill, hair condition and detangle and her ringlets were twirled. She has so much of the factory curl left in, her hair sprung back wonderfully. Adorable angelic face.

Belinda's little girl had obvious pilling on her face. She was booked in to have pilling removed and a bit of make up applied.
Her ringlets and part were in
good order so they were left.
She only needed a slight make up touch up on her lips.

After this photo was taken, I decided to redo the ringlets. They were a bit frizzy. They are now shiny and defined like the girl below.

WOW, this girl was a challenge.

She was booked in for:

Wash, Depill, Detangle, Conditioning treatment, Ringlets restored and a make up touch up.
Her hair took 2 hours to detangle but it is now super soft. I gently pulled back the fabric on her face and sat her in a warm spot to set (a mini face lift). I only put a slight bit of make up on her. She is quite lovely now.

Sometimes the most awful dolls can come out the very best.

This little sweety had a bath. When she was wet, she was very grubby with bits of mould and grime. She was a tough one because I didn't want to wet her hair, so removing the grime was tricky. Vicky loves her boofy hair, so I kept those intact. She had a very minor make up touch up and a part neaten. Also her nose straightened. VOILA!!

This girl had a whirwind visit. She had quite bad pilling and spots of dirt here and there. She had a wash and depill. Her hair was mostly left as is as it was very nice and had original parts, ties and curls. I just neatened it a bit to minimise those fly aways. Her fringe I also neatened. This girl had by far the strongest make up colourings I have seen. After her face was depilled the colour really jumped out.

This cute soul had a soak. Her face fabric had a few spots on it which didn't come out. Thought they were mould, but mould treatment didn't budge them. You have to look super close to see, so overall, she came up a treat. Her face was depilled as best as possible, her hair had a deep condition and detangle. Her part was redone and a bit more fringe was bought forward and her make up was freshened up.Sweet cake.

Restoring those dolls that have practically no make up is ALWAYS a big challenge.

This girl was no exception. After I washed her, she had no eyelashes, no blush and only a tiny bit of lip. Karin would have loved if  this girl had pink lips, so I tried. BIG MISTAKE. It simply does not work. She was meant to be a peachy make up girl, they are her colourings. So it took 2 go's but we got there. She also had a wash, depill, hair condition, detangle, part rewoven and of course the make up. So cute with her little Care Bear friend.

This girl is SO ADORABLE. She has the cutest face. As you can see a slight wrinkle but with a wash and depill, it tightened quite a bit. Only about half as bad now. Although she is a topknot, her fringe was not distinct because I think she may have had a cut in the front. Once again I styled her hair slightly different to disguise it and I added big soft curls all over her head. Very bouncy hair..

Although this girl has had a face lift at one stage, she needed a slight face depill and her hair redefined. A bit of her previously touched up eyeshadow came off in the wash. Her hair was conditioned and detangled and she had no frizz (thank goodness). I lightly balanced her make up and her ringlets popped back into place with a twist.

This sweetheart had been in the wars. Her previous owner had performed some awful deeds in an attempt to make her pretty. She had stitching that has sewn her neck to her body (in an attempt to hold the head because she has a loose neck joint). She also has some bad stitching at the back. She had some texta for eyelashes and some lip colour which is too dark. She's was also pretty dirty. She was washed,depilled and had a mould treatment. Her part was rewoven and her hair was conditioned and styled. Her make up was also applied as there was little left. She has a real baby look with the soft make up Cute!!!. Oh and I stuffed her neck to make it hold a pose (a nice non surgical way to fix a neck joint).

Sweety little face. Slight facial dent, but sometimes I find it makes the doll more individual. She has had a wash, hair condition and detangle. Her part was rewoven, fringe neatened and her make up was touched up as it was quite faded and colourless. Although she is a confirmed Double Ribbons girl, I added some soft curls to her hair as I thought she looked cuter that way. Shy little face. She loves her Care Bear friend.

Sweet girl.This girl had a wash, depill, hair condition and detangle, her part rewoven. After her detangle, I found that she had LOTS of frizz. Dreaded frizz. I set her hair in curlers to give her a less structured ringlet which looks more natural. The frizz is hardly noticeable and she is simply adorable like this. Her make up was slightly touched to even it out. Gorgeous!!.
